# Criterion A.4 - Other GHG included

The Bilan Carbone® method aims above all to reflect physical reality. It therefore takes into account GHG emissions as soon as the level of scientific knowledge allows. In addition to the emissions conventionally assessed, the Bilan Carbone® also offers the possibility of quantifying:

* GHGs governed by other international treaties (e.g. CFCs, nitrogen oxides NOx)
* water vapour and contrails emitted by aircraft in the stratosphere

However, we are aware that these emissions may be incidental (relative to the overall volume of GHG emissions) in the business approaches of certain candidate tools. This is why this criterion is optional.

#### Pedagogical guidance on accounting for non-Kyoto GHGs

In order to help users understand the importance of considering all greenhouse gases in a carbon accounting exercise, it is important to present them to users, explaining the differences in impact and the types of activity that may be concerned.

This can help users better understand the issues specific to their sector and work on their decarbonisation strategy accordingly.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.bilancarbone-conformite.com/compliance-framework/compliance-referentials/chapitre-a-cadre-technique-et-methodologique/critere-a.4-autres-gaz-a-effet-de-serre-inclus.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
