# Criterion D.5 - Data export in Bilan Carbone® format

In the interest of collaborative work and as few restrictions as possible, tools may need to use data from other assessments or export their data to other tools. A data model is proposed by the Bilan Carbone® method through the collection matrix. Therefore, the candidate tool is required to offer an export, and potentially an import, including at minimum the following information for all data in a Bilan Carbone®:

* Emission label
* Bilan Carbone® category
* Bilan Carbone® sub-category
* Activity data information:
  * Value
  * Type
  * Source
  * Uncertainty (with a single characteristic)
* Emission factor information:
  * Emission factor label
  * Value (if authorised by the data provider)
  * Unit
  * Uncertainty (all available characteristics)
  * Type
  * Source
  * Source version
* Associated carbon footprint

As some emission factor providers have commercial rules regarding the sharing of their data, a tolerance will be granted for the EFs concerned, provided that the tool seeks to supply all possible data, in particular by ensuring that the most relevant emission factors are provided when a choice must be made.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.bilancarbone-conformite.com/compliance-framework/compliance-referentials/chapitre-d-transparence-de-la-methodologie-des-sources-et-formation/critere-d.5-export-des-donnees-au-format-bilan-carbone-r.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
