# Criterion E.2 - Support for climate communication

Climate communication is a key lever for low-carbon transition and for showcasing the efforts made, but it also carries significant risks of oversimplification, lack of transparency, or error when not properly framed.

To ensure sincere messages based on verifiable data, organisations can be supported in the way they communicate about their commitments, their results, and their climate trajectories.

This criterion aims to assess the ability of the candidate tool to support and facilitate climate communication for its users, in accordance with the best practices defined by the [Guide to Communication around Carbon Accounting](/compliance-framework/annexes/bibliographie.md#guide-de-communication-autour-de-la-comptabilite-carbone).

In particular, it involves verifying whether the tool provides resources enabling users to build their skills in constructing their climate communication or to frame their communication elements.

The challenge is twofold: enabling users to showcase their climate actions in a clear and transparent manner, while contributing to reliable public information and to the overall credibility of low-carbon transition approaches.
